Raymond C. McIntosh Memorial Fund for ACARF
The Raymond C. McIntosh Memorial Endowment Fund was established at Your Community Foundation (YCF) in 2021 to honor the life and legacy of Raymond C. McIntosh, a lifelong animal lover and devoted supporter of the Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF). Created through contributions from Raymond’s estate, his brother Gary McIntosh, and many generous donors, this designated endowment provides long-term, reliable funding to support ACARF’s mission.
Each year, the fund’s earnings are granted to ACARF to help cover vital operating costs and medical expenses for sick and nursing animals. Thanks to community support and contributions during YCF’s annual Match Month campaign, the fund has grown to over $100,000 and has begun awarding grants to make a lasting impact on animal welfare in Allen County.
The McIntosh Fund reflects Raymond’s passion for animals and his commitment to giving back. It stands as a lasting tribute to his generosity while demonstrating the power of planned giving to create meaningful change for generations to come.
